DESCRIPTION
Underprivileged children are already born at a disadvantage. They struggle from a young age and are not given proper treatment. Our goal is to supply ophthalmic supplies to children who suffer from vision impairment. There are children who need glasses, treatment and professional care and aren’t able to afford the cost of these necessities. Eyesight is an essential luxury that most people take for granted. There are numerous amounts of people who could are risk of losing their sight who aren’t able to prevent it without the proper funds.
The PJ Children’s Foundation would like to donate money as well as provide proper eyecare services, eyeglasses and supplies to underprivileged children. Our goal is to sponsor children and provide for their eyecare needs including procedures and eyeglasses.
We will be donating money to the following six organizations: The Holtz Children’s Hospital, Miami Lighthouse for the Blind, Lions Club International, South Miami Children’s Clinic, St. John Bosco Clinic and Global Brigades. In the early stages, The PJ Children’s Foundation will focus their donations to Holtz Children’s Hospital, Miami Lighthouse for the Blind, and Lions Club International.
